I don’t keep up on all the TEO executives but if this is who I think it is people should be lighting off fireworks from Lake Erie to Philadelphia.

Speaking from the Diocese of Pennsylvania, (polite) fireworks are indeed being readied in celebration. It was hard to precisely follow all the legal wrangling and behind-the-scenes politicking that lead to this moment, but it is a good moment indeed, no matter what political side you find yourself on. Hopefully this will be the beginning of a desperately needed healing process.

A very small irony – hover on the article link, look at the bottom edge of the window, and you will see an unintended word play caused by the need to omit apostrophes in web links. 😉 Prayers that it not be so.

    #4 A burning question Milton.

One quick way to get rid of such hirelings is to make a resolution in the next diocesan Council and pass a budget amendment to set the bishop’s salary at $20,000.
